Full Time Spa Manager

Using your strong organisation skills to Manage all operational procedures within the Spa and to ensure effective day to day management and beyond expectation customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Person

The successful candidate needs to have a proved track record of managerial experience (minimum 1 year) within the Spa, Health & Beauty industry with an excellent knowledge of Health & Safety.

Excellent customer service skills are required, along with good organisational and communication skills and a keen eye for detail. 

Qualified to a Level 3 or equivalent in beauty spa/therapy.

Must be able to work flexile hours around the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:-

Actively driving the Spa forward in its niche market maximising profitability.

Working closely with the sales and marketing department to provide the Spa with maximum exposure.

Work to achieve the budgets set for the department.

Ensure the team works as a team to increase memberships and revenue opportunities in the Spa.

Staff:-

To manage lead and motivate your team in a positive manner helping them achieve their full potential.

Liaise with HR to complete staff performance and ensure staff work towards their key performance areas.

Set out clear and measurable objectives for staff.

Organise daily briefings and weekly staff meetings.  

Service:-

Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are met in relation to the hot tubs, sauna and rasul.

Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the Spa including treatment and relaxation rooms and external areas.  These should be kept in a neat, tidy and sanitary manner in accordance with the Spa and Health and Safety standards. 

Take responsibility for checking the standard of all Spa areas daily and lead your head therapist to do the same in your absents.

Handle any guest complaints or problems promptly to ensure that all resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to your Operations and General Manager.

Remain fully aware of the Accident Reporting Procedure, Maintenance Fault Reporting Procedure and Fire Policy for Your Department.

Ensure all bookings are made in the most effective and productive manner, maximising treatment opportunities.

Display excellent customer service and awareness at all times.

Demonstrate an excellent, overall knowledge of the Spa products and services to advise our guests.

Financial:-

Monitor and control budgets and expenditure within the spa, assisting finance admin with the accurate and timely financial accounting.

Ensure financial paperwork is processed both timely and accurately.

Complete purchase orders for new stock.

Communicate daily revenue with Finance team.

Track and report staff commissions

Administration:-

Plan and forecast staffing in accordance with the business needs of the Spa and Hotel.

Spa Therapists

Main Purpose of the Role

Working in our new Spa you will help maintain our high level of standards by offering a range of Spa treatments to our guests. 

You will be BTEC, NVQ levels 2 & 3  or hold an equivalent qualification in beauty therapy, have good customer care skills; courteous and willingness to help, good verbal communication and listening skills and show ability to build rapport and be flexible and adaptable; good team player with the ability to organize self; plan and prioritise high level of personal presentation, clear conversational English.

You will be able to demonstrate that you are not only a therapist but a positive team player that can work collaboratively with our other hotel departments.  

The Ideal Person

You’ll be committed to delivering treatments, with strong communication skills that mean you can interact with all levels of colleagues and guests.

With a flexible approach, and able to quickly adapt to change, you’ll have worked in this environment before and have a real eye for detail. Ideally you’ll have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar environment and the proven ability to go the extra mile for our customers.

Food and Beverage Spa Team Member

We are recruiting for a Food & Beverage Team Member to work in our Spa. 

You will be joining our passionate, fun & developing team in one of the most desirable and elegant properties in the area.

The ideal candidate will be a confident people person that is prepared to work hard and in return be rewarded with great surroundings and good prospects.

As part of the role you will be expected to communicate with customers, chefs and other members of the team ensuring all standards are met with attention to each detail primarily focusing on the customer's experience.
