Senior Wedding & Events Coordinator

In this key role for our business, your responsibility will be to effectively supervise the wedding co-ordinator and support the team to handle and convert wedding enquiries from initial stages through to final details, followed by the accurate communication of client requirements to the Operational team prior to the event itself.

You will ensure customers’ expectations are met and exceeded, in turn supporting the achievement of the property’s budget and targets.

A key part of this role is to conduct show rounds for Weddings, ensuring that correct information is given to the appropriate enquiry.

You will also be responsible for the organisation of regular wedding open evenings and open days to highlight the property to the local wedding and banqueting market.

The Ideal Person

  • Previous experience in weddings and events is essential.
  • Enjoy working and dealing with the public and being part of a team.
  • Confident, pleasant and an excellent articulate communicator; able to stay calm under pressure and remain courteous when dealing with difficult situations.

As part of our Housekeeping team, your responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and good order of all rooms to create a pleasant environment for our guests and our team.

In addition, you will perform cleaning and maintenance of all storage areas, public areas and employee areas to the required standard. You will handle any guest queries in a courteous and professional manner and escalate as required, as well as reporting any malfunctioning equipment, damaged furniture or maintenance problems.

To be successful in this role you should have excellent personal presentation and a strong work ethic. You will be proactive, able to work under your own initiative and the drive to consistently meet our high standards in terms of cleanliness and brand pillars ensuring our guests have a comfortable stay with us. Food and Beverage Supervisor

Main Purpose of the Role

Participating in the preparation, set up and service of the food and bar service areas, you’ll ensure a high level of efficiency whilst maintaining and improving standards and quality of service.

You’ll also be responsible for duty management shifts, review and monitor cash floats, ensure equipment maintenance and ensure all F&B areas are always kept presentable and tidy, to ensure the best F&B experience for all of our customers.

You’ll be committed to delivering fantastic customer service, but will also be a competent leader with strong communication skills that mean you can interact with all levels of colleagues and guests.

With a flexible approach, and able to quickly adapt to change, you’ll have worked in this environment before and have a real eye for detail. Ideally you’ll have leadership experience in an F&B environment and the proven ability to go the extra mile for our customers.

Food and Beverage Assistant

We are recruiting for a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our passionate, fun & developing team in one of the most desirable and elegant properties in the area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out of guests, following company guidelines at all times.
  • When manning switchboard ensure, where possible, that all calls are answered within three rings and all queries are handled effectively.
  • Recognize and act upon sales opportunities. 
  • Handle floats and takings accurately and correctly.
  • Immediately report any maintenance faults to your Line Manager. 
  • Anticipate customer needs wherever possible, and to react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • To be fully conversant with facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel, and where possible to pass this information on to the guest whenever the opportunity arises.
  • Stay aware of the security of the hotel and guests property.
  • Be punctual, smart, correctly uniformed, and polite, courteous and helpful to guests at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

  • It is essential that you have effective communication skills, good attention to detail and be inspired. 
  • You must be clearly customer focussed with a dynamic and flexible approach.
  • Guestline Rezlynx trained is desirable however not essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Possess the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out general maintenance tasks within the hotel to the required standard.
  • Request from your supervisor the necessary equipment and materials to complete the job on hand prior to starting work.
  • Ensure adequate provision of protection and warning signs during works.
  • Clean the area in which you have been working on completion of the painting and decorating task.
  • Take responsibility for the security and maintenance of your tools and equipment used for painting and decorating.
  • To be safety conscious at all times with regard to yourself, guests and staff within the area where you are working.
  • Carry out any general maintenance work on request form your supervisor.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You will need to possess the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out general maintenance tasks within the hotel to the required standard.
  • We are looking for someone who has high standards and the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Ideally you will also have prior experience and knowledge of painting and decorating in a large scale venue.
